I was asked to make a simplified 5 course guitar by classical guitarist Karl Wohlwend to enable him to expand into the solo repertoire and some possible continuo. This version is a simplified two piece back in figured maple with solid sides of the same. The top is very tight Alpine "moon" Spruce. The neck is unveneered mahogany and plum pegs.
